We at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) at Karolinska Institutet seek an ambitious and responsible research assistant with an open approach to work, interest in innovation and/or entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary experience.

About us

The unit for bioentrepreneurship (UBE) within the department LIME offers a two-year global master's programme in bioentrepreneurship (MBE) and programme elective and free-standing courses. UBE is KI's competence center at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, a collaboration between KI, KTH, the Stockholm School of Economics, Konstfack, Stockholm University and the Royal College of Music, which provides interdisciplinary education.

Your mission

As a research assistant, you will:

Work together with project-responsible researchers to collect and analyse data using qualitative methods.
Carry out a literature review in the form of an interdisciplinary overview study (scoping review).
Recruit and conduct interviews. Analyse collected data and compile results in English.
Review scientific articles with the software Rayyan, analyse interview data with NVivo and perform simpler analyses of data with SPSS.

Your profile

Meritorious

Previous experience of research work.
Previous experience of written presentation of research results in English.
Experience in entrepreneurship and/or innovation.
Experience in the life sciences.

Personal characteristics:

Interest in the research area of entrepreneurship/innovation within the life sciences.
Structured, independent and results-oriented with the ability to work within given time frames.
Good ability to work based on prepared directives and good cooperation skills.
