We are looking for 2 Postdoctoral Researchers to support research in the domains of Nutrition, Behavioral science, and Epidemiology within the IMPACT research group (Innovative use of Mobile Phones to promote physical activity and nutrition across the life span). The group has wide research interests, spanning from clinical trials to healthy population studies in children and adults, to cohorts and registry studies, to real world data collection and analytics. In all cases we focus on the use of modern analysis techniques and technologies to monitor behavior and support behavioral change. The successful applicants will be working under the supervision of Professor Marie Löf and Researcher Ioannis Ioakeimidis, within the scope of various, recently funded, National Swedish and EU research projects. These positions will combine tasks within eHealth clinical and real-world studies, for lifestyle related analytics and interventions, as well as large cohort and registry dataset management and analysis.
Your mission
As one of the two Postdoctoral Researchers you will be leading and conducting eHealth and mHealth studies where hardware and software is implemented in clinics, in family environments, as well as schools and community events. Alternatively, you will primarily be responsible for analyzing large cohort and registry datasets with lifestyle behaviors and writing manuscripts for a new research program. In all cases the candidates will work in a multidisciplinary team. Administration, management, ethical application writing and technical reporting for research projects (Swedish National and EU) are also part of the responsibilities, in all cases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supervising doctoral and master students’ projects and may also have pedagogical responsibilities in the form of leading and teaching on Bachelor, Master’s, and Doctoral level in KI.
Eligibility requirements
We are searching for two candidates who fulfill as many of the requirements below. We will examine all the relevant applications irrespective of some missing qualifications.

Bases of Assesment
Your scientific expertise in the areas of nutrition, epidemiology, biostatistics, or relevant health science domains will be the most important when assessing candidates. The successful candidates should have documented – and by referees supported – experiences in: i) handling and analyzing large datasets (cohorts and national registries), preferably with exposures related to lifestyle behaviors, and/or ii) use of eHealth and mHealth methodologies for behavioral monitoring, modelling, and modification. Technical capabilities, as well as prior Project management experience are merits, but not solid requirements. Experience with collaborative EU projects will be a strong merit for one of the positions. Excellent writing and communication skills in English are required, and similar skills in Swedish are welcome, but not required. Extra weight will be placed on your data management and analysis skills, especially for large datasets. Finally, documented experience in acquiring own external grants will be considered as a strong merit.
Your profile

This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
