Novel methods for tissue analyses is allowing unprecedented opportunities to analyze cancer tissue for discovery of biological mechanisms and biomarkers. This position will expand a series of ongoing studies using multiplex staining of different tumor collections.

Well-informed and advanced image analyses are key to full use and exploitation of these data.

Your mission

Studies will be focused on establishing methods allowing discovery of novel tissue niches detected through supervised or unsupervised approaches.

Your profile

Applicants should have a background in image analyses, and some previous connections to analyses of biological samples.

Studies will be performed at the Dept. of Oncology-Pathology, BioMedicum, Karolinska Institutet

The project will be supervised by Prof. Arne Östman
