In our research group you will find a unique opportunity to assess brain connectivity assessed with different imaging modalities (diffusion MRI, functional MRI, EEG, MEG) in relation to new imaging sequences, plasma biomarkers, cerebrospinal biomarkers and cognition in Alzheimer’s disease. This project will be carried out in the Brain Connectomics Lab, which consists of 3 PhD students and 2 Postdocs working at the Clinical Neuroscience Department at Karolinska Institute under the supervision of Associate Prof. Joana B. Pereira.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the analyses of brain images and conducting the statistical analyses to test clinical hypotheses in large international cohorts.
The candidate is expected to be highly motivated, independent and have good communication skills. The postdoc will collaborate with other group members, contribute to ongoing projects, propose new ideas, complete research projects and write manuscripts of high scientific quality.
To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
