Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

The Department of Laboratory Medicine consists of seven divisions in which both research and teaching are carried out. The Department is involved in advanced research in both basic and applied research. All departments operate in close contact with clinicians at Karolinska University Hospital.

Research in Katarina Le Blanc's research group is focused on better understanding how mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) can have such a powerful effect on the immune system. • Good knowledge of flow cytometry (creation of panels, compensation, gating in FlowJo)
  • ELISA Immunoassay
  • GraphPad analysis

Experience in myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation and co-culture with immune cells is an advantage. Knowledge of the Swedish language or another language is an advantage but not a requirement.
As a person, we would like you to be analytical, flexible and organised. You can work independently and have good communication skills. You interact and collaborate easily with others. In this recruitment process we place great importance to personal qualities.
