Do you want to contribute to better health for all?
We are looking for a Research Assistant (Forskningsassistent) to Marie Löf’s IMPACT Research group (https://ki.se/en/bionut/the-impact-research-group-marie-lof), working within the work team of Researcher Ioannis Ioakeimidis. The group has a wide research interest, spanning from clinical studies to real world data analytics, focusing on the use of novel technologies to monitor health-related behaviors and support behavioral change. A current research focus is the analysis of local Swedish food environment parameters relevant to children and young people (e.g., outdoors and digital food advertisements and food promotion material), in tandem with socio-demographic and built-environment characteristics. The planned data collection and analysis entails content evaluation for collected pictures of relevant food promotion material, collected through dedicated, purpose-built digital tools. This position is for 5 months.
An educational background in nutritional and dietetic science and experience with clinical dietary consulting are preferable. Any previous experience in picture-based content analysis (e.g., using VGG Image Annotator platform), is a strong advantage, especially if it concerns food content categorization in the domain of food advertising. Similarly, hands on experience with data analysis of large datasets is very relevant. Strong oral and written skills in English are required. Some experience with eHealth and mobile-based data collection methodologies is also desired. Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
