Your mission

We are looking for a person with high integrity, good communication skills and a strong interest cognitive neuroscience and experimental research. The position is as a research assistant in a project that investigates the basic behavioral mechanisms that regulate the pleasantness and motivational value of food stimuli. It is part of a larger project that also examines patients with eating disorders and collects functional neuroimaging data. You will work in the Nutritional Neuroscience research group at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Department of Psychology (PI: Janina Seubert). The position is a fixed-term, full-time position. You will mainly work with:

  • recruitment and contact with participants
  • data collection through behavioral testing
  • data collection through functional magnetic resonance imaging
  • production of smell and taste stimuli for studies

Your profile

We welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, behavioral science or similar. We place great importance on previous work experience with the collection of brain imaging data and/or behavioral experiments. The applicant must be social, responsible and able to work independently and with great accuracy. We attach great importance to personal suitability. Documented ability to speak and write fluently in English is a requirement because English is the main language of communication in the research group. Being able to speak and write fluently in Swedish is desirable.
