Division of Biostatistics aims to contribute toward solving health problems and disseminating knowledge and culture of biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet and worldwide. Research, teaching, and collaboration with other researchers are essential parts of its mission. The Unit was established in 2010 at IMM and is responsible for the Karolinska Institutet Biostatistics Core Facility. The Unit seeks a postdoctoral researcher. 

Your mission

The postdoc will carry out research with a focus on the development of new theory and methods and will develop as a researcher in statistics/biostatistics. Research topics in areas of interest to other members at the Unit of Biostatistics are preferred. The Unit of Biostatistics and Karolinska Institutet can provide excellent support and an ideal environment for the new postdoc to thrive. The postdoc will be offered the opportunity to be involved in other activities of the Unit of Biostatistics and of the Karolinska Institutet Biostatistics Core Facility.

Your profile

Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence and are able to demonstrate skills and experience in the fields of statistics/biostatistics. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment.
