KIND is a competence center for research, development and education, focusing primarily on neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Conditions and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Your mission

We are seeking a highly motivated person for a part-time position as a research assistant in order to help with research projects on perception in autism and synesthesia in twins. The main duty is helping with data acquisition, including both behavioral testing and MR data acquisition (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). The position further includes helping with recruitment, bookings, data entry and storage and research documentation. We offer possibilities for development, including conducting analyses on research data acquired within the projects.

The position is part time, at least 30%, with possibilities to increase up to 60% based on an agreement between employee and line manager. The working hours can occasionally exceed 17.00 on the days of data acquisition.

Your profile

We are looking for a highly responsible research assistant with enthusiasm for research in neurodevelopmental disorders and a strong motivation for interacting with participants. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in either neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, cognitive sciences or linguistics. Either good English or good Swedish skills and enthusiasm for the research topic are requirements.

Having a master’s degree within one the above mentioned areas, being fluent in both English and Swedish and previous research experience are highly meriting. Further, good knowledge of regression analyses, statistics software (ideally R), use of brain imaging software, experience in working with study participants, and previous research experience in the areas of autism, synesthesia, twin design or perception research are also highly meriting.
