Research assistant

This position is placed in the project Periscope (Pan-European Response to the Impacts of COVID-19 and Future Pandemics and Epidemics) in the research group EPiCSS, (Epidemiology of Psychiatric Conditions, Substance use and Social environment). Periscope is an EU Horizon 2020 project which i.e. aims to map the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Your mission

We are looking for a person with an interest in meta-analysis for a shorter employment (approximately 3 months) to compile a meta-analysis. You who are applying must have completed a master's degree in public health science. Furthermore, applicants should have written a longer scientific work with a focus on mental health and covid-19, and have documented good knowledge of meta-analysis methods and English in speech and writing.

Your profile

We want you who are applying to have:

Practical and theoretical knowledge in data processing and statistical analyses in STATA
Practical and theoretical knowledge in epidemiology, especially important is knowledge in meta-analysis of longitudinal and cross-sectional studies
Experience of research in the field of mental health, especially in the epidemiology of depression and anxiety
The person we are looking for must be independent, have a good ability to convey results verbally and in writing and have a good ability to work together in a team.
Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
Good knowledge in Swedish
