Are you an early career person within bioentrepreneurship who would like to contribute to our research?

We are looking for an early career person with knowledge in bioentrepreneurship who can work with us within a project aiming to develop a mobile application for better follow-up of cancer patients.

Research group

Our research group consists of senior and junior researchers, biostatisticians, administrators, research nurses and doctoral students. The work environment is stimulating, active and creative. Our research group studies in various ways health-related quality of life in patients who are operated on for oesophageal or stomach cancer. We have recently started a project that aims to develop a mobile application that will help to give these patients a more individualized follow-up and tailored rehabilitation. Your role

A market analysis/survey has been conducted that needs to be analysed and further investigations are needed. You will also contribute to the mobile application development and its implementation. Other tasks are a systematic review about the relevant market and a competitor analysis.
We hope you will bring new or complementary knowledge as well as ideas to help moving the project forward.
English is the language we mainly use within the group and Swedish is the language used in the market analysis.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Early career experience within bioentrepreneurship with education from a Swedish university;
  • Insights and experience in product and business development work;
  • Knowledge in competitor, stakeholder and market analysis;
  • Insights into product portfolio analysis for competitor products;
  • Experience in drafting and analysing business plans/canvas;
  • Insights in doing a systematic review of the market in focus;
  • Excellent knowledge in English in both speaking and writing and ability to understand/translate some Swedish.

Meriting factors are:

  • Previous work experience in a biomed research environment;
  • Understanding of cancer research;
  • Experience in digital application development;
  • Knowledge in laws and regulations governing the approval of digital health applications in Europe and overseas;
  • Insights into intellectual property rights;
  • Master of other languages (enabling worldwide competitor analysis
