Research assistant during the summer - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant to work with Assistant Professor Pia Dosenovic at the department of MTC, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden during the summer of 2022. The group is studying B cell immunology with a focus on questions relevant for vaccine design.

Your mission

Are you highly organized and enjoy performing varying laboratory work on exciting research questions? As a research assistant in Pia Dosenovic’s group you will work with mice and perform immunological assays such as ELISA and flow cytometry. Your job assignment will also include common molecular cloning techniques such as PCR and sequence analysis.

Your profile

To be qualified for the position strong organizational skills are required. The ideal candidate also has experience in the above-mentioned methods, in particular sequence analysis techniques. Personal skills such as strong own initiative in the laboratory are highly evaluated as well as being fluent in written and spoken English.
