Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

A 20% position as Principal Researcher in Epidemiology and Causal Inference at the Unit of Epidemiology, Institute of Environmental Medicine.

The epidemiological research at the Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM) is focused on advancing knowledge about disease etiology and prognosis with an emphasis on environmental and lifestyle factors, and on methodological development and stringency. Another line of research constitutes the application of causal inference methods to longitudinal observational data and randomized trials. The research is based on the unique resource of Swedish and Nordic nationwide population registers and clinical registries as well as cohorts and case-control studies with extensive information from questionnaires and biological samples.

The research will mainly be based on real-world data from Swedish population and health data registers, also including health care quality registers. The work will also include applying for research funding, as well as teaching and supervision.
