Your mission

The position is intended to further strengthen our leading research in pediatric pharmacoepidemiology. The research assistant will conduct part of a register-based research study in the field of pediatric asthma pharmacoepidemiology, under supervision of senior researchers. The first employment will be for three months but with the possibility of extension. 

Your profile

Requirements for this position include a bachelor level academic degree in a relevant discipline, training in epidemiology and statistics, and experience with SAS or corresponding advanced statistical software. Experience from register-based research and pediatric pharmacoepidemiology investigating associations between drug exposures and serious adverse events are regarded as strong merits.

Important personal merits include flexibility, independency, motivation for the research field, strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. Fluency in English is a requirement and working knowledge of Swedish is a merit.

The position is located within the Department of Medicine, Solna. The department consists of twelve divisions and each division consists of several research groups. The position is located within the research group Askling, team Björn Pasternak https://staff.ki.se/people/bjorn-pasternak
