Your mission

Positron emission tomography (PET) is a non-invasive molecular imaging technique increasingly used in biomedical research and drug development. A fundamental pre-requisite for PET is the radioactive tracer molecule used in the PET measurement, which can be designed with exquisite specificity to open up opportunities for research into completely new aspects of human physiology in vivo. There is a large unmet need for new PET tracer molecules and your contributions are vital to assist the PET group at Karolinska Institutet in their development. The research group of Farde/Halldin is one of the world leading research group for the development of novel PET radioligands. One of the most important applications of PET is to study various diseases in psychiatry and neurology and to develop drugs in collaboration with pharma industry. You will join a highly engaged team focused on the development and production of tracers for both preclinical and clinical PET studies.
