Join us in developing education of the highest quality

Our research group develops, validates and applies advanced imaging techniques in a fast-paced clinical setting. By doing so, we aim to gain pathophysiological insights and actionable quantitative imaging biomarkers with a special focus on neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative disorders. We have immediate access to the latest imaging technologies, including high-performance MRI scanners and the World’s first clinically approved photon-counting CT. We are also an internationally collaborative group and focus on supporting large-scale projects.

Your mission

As a candidate, your primary mission within the group will be to facilitate the development and optimization of advanced CT image post-processing pipelines, including both dual-energy and multi-energy (photon-counting) CT data. This includes all of the necessary tasks involved from developing the data storage framework, developing data pseudonymization streams and co-developing advanced material decomposition techniques alongside clinical colleagues. Your work should be structured and well-documented, providing the grounds and contributions for high-quality scientific publications.

Your profile

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or concurrent enrollment in such a program) in Computer science
  • Minimum one-year experience conducting biomedical research at high-level institution(s)
  • A wide breadth of experience with medical imaging data; special consideration will be given to CT and MRI processing of the brain and lungs
  • Experience in working with dual-energy / photon-counting CT and material decomposition techniques
