Your mission

You will be working closely together with the pathologists of Karolinska University Hospital. Together, you will annotate histological structures on digitally scanned whole-slide images of colorectal and pancreatic cancer, in order to quantitatively assess protein expression. The project is part of a larger study, in which we investigate the biology of tumor stroma and tumor-interacting cells in various tumor types.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a background in medical research and/or clinical medicine. Previous experience with histopathology is a must, and the ideal candidate has experience with identifying histopathological structures in complex clinical sections comprised of tumor and normal tissue. Documented experience with quantitative analysis of protein expression on histopathological slides is a strong merit. Previous experience with statistical analysis and coding in groovy and R is a merit.
