In our research group, you will find a unique opportunity to work closely with top researchers in the borderland between psychology and neuroscience to jointly try to understand human cognition on a neural level. Your role

We are looking for a responsible person who has a good hand with people and with a strong interest in research in neuroscience. The position is as a research assistant in a series of projects that test different aspects of our working memory in human subjects. It is part of a larger project that also uses animals and computer models to understand this fundamental cognitive ability. You will work together with Mikael Lundqvist at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Division of Psychology. The employment is a full-time employment. You will mainly work with:

  • recruitment and contact with participants
  • behavioral data collection through tests of visual working memory
  • neurophysiological data collection through EEG / MEG
  • administration of collected data

Who are you?

We welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, behavioral science or similar. We put great importance to the fact that the applicant has previously worked with the collection of brain imaging data and / or behavioral experiments. The applicant must be social, responsible and able to work independently and meticulously. We put great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to work as part of a team. Proven ability to speak and write fluent English is a requirement.
