In our research group you will find a unique environment to work closely together with top scientists in a vast area between clinical cancer survivorship, epidemiology, statistics and public health. Together we strive to understand how a childhood cancer diagnosis would affect long-term survivors’ life and work, based on large Swedish register databases. We provide an engaging and international research environment where you may have the opportunity to contribute to high quality research in the field of childhood cancer survivorship.

Your mission

During the employment period, July-September 2021, you will be working with high-quality Swedish register data, performing statistical analyses based on Poisson regression models and Cox regression models. Further, you will be reviewing previous literatures and drafting a manuscript of the designed study, under the supervision of the project leader. The position can be potentially extended, based on the job performance.

Your profile

We are searching for someone who has a master’s degree in Epidemiology or Statistics, and who is interested in further working on epidemiological research. The person should be responsible, curious, with good learning ability and good at communication in English (foremost in writing). Previous experiences in statistical software such as SAS or STATA, and scientific publication is a merit.
