Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

Applications are invited for three positions as research assistant at NatMEG - the National Facility for Magnetoencephalography, Karolinska Institutet. The position is ideal for a person with an interest in a future career in neuroscience, especially within the MEG and/or EEG fields.

NatMEG is the first and only research laboratory in Sweden for whole-head measurements of neuronal brain activity using magnetoencephalography (MEG). Because of the lab’s national function, projects at NatMEG span across the areas of instrumentation (e.g. on-scalp MEG sensors), clinical applications (epilepsy evaluations), clinical neuroscience (e.g. Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, ADHD, autism, hypertension, and preterm infants) and cognitive neuroscience (e.g. memory, language, attention, perception, pain, music, decision making, emotion recognition).

Your mission

The successful candidates will work with on-site training and support of NatMEG’s users, aid users in developing experimental protocols, collecting and analyzing MEG data, as well as with the technical maintenance of the MEG lab and management of lab bookings and invoicing.  The candidates will work with projects involving children, adults, and elderly, from both healthy and clinical populations.
