Your mission

In your role as postdoctoral fellow in the group, you will be responsible for a project that aim to determine how the human brain processes odors with a focus on the olfactory bulb. You will be responsible for setting up experiments, analyzing data and writing scientific articles where the results are reported. The position also means that you must ensure that the project's research documentation is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your profile

Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.

You must have documented experience of psychophysical testing of sensory functions as well as documented experience of collecting and analyzing EEG data. It is especially an advantage if you also have documented experience of collecting and analyzing odor-based EEG data. Experience in collecting and analyzing EEG data related to odor processing in patients with Parkinson's disease is also particularly meritorious. We prefer that the applicant has a doctoral degree in a field of science close to the research. The successful candidate will have publications published in high-quality and international journals.
