We are recruiting a summer student for the months of June and July 2021 to work in the group of Professor Gunilla Karlsson Hedestam at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology at Karolinska Institutet (KI). The physical location of the Karlsson Hedestam laboratory is in Biomedicum on the KI Solna campus.
You will contribute to a project in experimental cellular immunology to study phenotypic and functional aspects of cells that carry a specific gene defect. You will work with primary immune cells, in vitro stimulation protocols, flow cytometry and a range of functional assays.
You are a young student with experience of work with primary immune cells, in vitro stimulation protocols and flow cytometry. You should have prior experience of work in a basic research laboratory focused on experimental immunology.
