Do you want to contribute to better health for all?

We are a small research group with one BMA, one postdoc and one PhD-student. In our group you will get a creative and inspiring environment full of expertise and curiosity, with focus on immunology and clinical neuroscience.

Biological drugs have revolutionized the treatment of especially chronic inflammatory drugs. However, one problem is that the immune system reacts against the drug and may develop anti-drug antibodies (ADA), which at high levels can block the intended therapeutic effect. There are immunological methods one can use to identify ADA and the purpose of this project is to investigate how these methods should be used in the best way to improve healthcare with biological drugs.

Your mission

You will be assisting the development and evaluation of immunological methods with the aim to adapt them for use in the clinical routine. This includes analyzing patient samples using the ECL/MSD method and setting up and evaluating B- and T-cell Elispot methods.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a bachelor's degree in biology, immunology and/or molecular medicine and experience of working in a research laboratory, preferentially with immunological methods. You need be able to express yourself well in English, both orally and in writing, but Swedish is not an absolute requirement. We like to see that you are well structured and have a good problem-solving and analytical ability, as well as being flexible and social.
