At the Division of Rheumatology at the Department of Medicine, Solna research is conducted on diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system, inflammatory as well as non-inflammatory. The Division of Rheumatology offers good opportunities to both clinical research on large and unique patient groups from the clinic along with biomedical and experimental animal research. The position is part-time 20% for 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Your mission

You will work with research projects in SLE. Duties include independent work with data management, problem solving, programming, statistical analysis and presentation of data.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have advanced knowledge in biostatistics. Familiarity with R is requirement. You should be able to understand and speak Swedish at least at a basic level, and you should be fluent in English, both spoken and written. The work demands good ability to cooperate and solve problems. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. Previous experience of working in a research environment, and with the current tasks, is a merit.

Location

The position is located within the Department of Medicine, Solna. The department consists of twelve divisions and each division consists of several research groups. The position is located within the research group Svenungsson whose work touches on various aspects of SLE.
