The Brodin lab is a multidisciplinary laboratory investigating human immune system variation using systems-level analyses tools. Half of the group focuses on data generation using diverse methods such as VirScan, mass cytometry, sc-mRNA-sequencing, ATAC-seq and high-dimensional functional analyses, while the other half of the group is concerned with developing and applying computational data analysis tools.

Your mission

The current postdoc project will be focused on the application of VirScan, a phage-display method for global serological profiling, as well as a systems serology approach to functional testing of antibodies from human patients and in particular the investigation of vaccine response in human newborns in relation to the developmental state of the infant immune system (Olin et al, Cell 2018 & Pou et al, Nature Medicine, 2019).
