The Center for Translational Microbiome Research is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) and Ferring Pharmaceuticals. The center is based on a deep understanding of translational microbiome research and has created a broad technical, biological, clinical and epidemiological platform for studying complex microbiological communities in well-defined human materials.

We are now looking for a researcher to work on increasing and disseminating knowledge in the field of microbiome. Your role will include coordinating epidemiology and oncobioma projects within the Center for Translational Microbiome Research. This is a permanent position, part-time.
A person is eligible to be appointed Researcher if he or she has been awarded a Degree of Doctor or has achieved the corresponding scientific competence, as well as documented research after publicly defending his or her doctoral thesis corresponding to qualification as Assistant professor.
The candidate must have relevant expertise in research on microbiome / microbiology, pharmaco-epidemiology, cancer, and gastrointestinal diseases.
The candidate must be motivated and have an established scientific profile within the current subject and methods.
You must have a documented experience of supervising doctoral and postdoctoral students, master methodology around register and microbiome research with epidemiological methods, specifically in pharmacoepidemiology and cancer epidemiology.
Excellent skills in the English language is required, in both speech and writing.
