We are currently looking for one or more postdoctoral researchers that will be working with several research project in a research group lead by Richard Bränström with a focus on inequalities in health and minority stress. The position entails participation in, planning of, and conducting research studies that aim to identify risk factors and mechanisms of mental health, and studies of the effect of internet-based psychological treatments. The position provides excellent opportunity for transition to career independence, including faculty supervision and an individual development plan to support training goals, and an engaging and international research environment where you will be able to contribute to internationally leading research.
The postdoctoral reseracher will be based at the Division of Psychology, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institute. The postdoctoral researcher will mainly work with study planning, statistical analysis, manuscript writing, and grant applications. The appointment is for one-year that is potentially renewable for an additional year, contingent on funding and performance. Applicants should have a PhD in psychology, social epidemiology, sociology, or an allied discipline. The successful candidate must have experience of register and survey-based epidemiological research as well as data management and analysis using, e.g., SAS, STATA, SPSS, Mplus, or R. Excellent English skills is a requirement and Swedish skills are meriting. The work involves close collaboration with others and demand flexibility and excellent communication skills.
Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.
