The Högberg group at the Division for Biomaterials, Dept. of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics is looking for a research assistant with a molecular biology or cell biology background. The questions we focus on are cell-signalling and tissue development and regeneration probed using new techniques based on DNA nanotechnology. We are currently looking for one supporting staff to help develop methodologies in the group.

Duties
The duties include assisting the research in the group with laboratory work mainly with cell lab work and in-vitro DNA nanostructure protocols. Some computational and bioinformatics work will also be part of the duties.

Qualifications
Applicants should have at least a bachelor degree in biomedicine. Applicants should be able to take initiative on their own to best support the research and have collaborative and social skills as well as being a rigorous co-worker. Applicants should have good knowledge in English both in writing and oral. Experience with cell culture, in-situ hybridization, DNA related techniques as well as experience in bioinformatics and mathematical modelling is meriting.
