Division
The Unit of Obstetrics and Gynecology perform research within advanced reproductive medicine. The Lanner laboratory performs studies of early human development and the use of embryonic stem cells in cellular regenerative medicine.

Duties
The research assistant will perform genetic targeting of human embryonic stem cells with the use of CRISPR/Cas9 technology which will also involve cloning of constructs, cell culture and genetic analysis.

Entry requirements
The candidate must have practical experience and knowledge of culturing human embryonic stem cells and performing gene editing in such cells. The candidate must also have a fundamental understanding of rejection biology in the setting of stem cell transplantation. In addition the position requires the candidate to be able to independently perform cloning of guide constructs and sequence analysis using Sanger sequencing.

Selection criteria
In the selection we will put focus on practical experience of gene editing in human embryonic stem cells and personal suitability.
