Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) works within some of the key areas important to fulfilling the motto of Karolinska Institutet ´to improve human health´. About the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE)
The Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) conducts research on and education in innovation and entrepreneurship. A two-year global Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship (MBE) is offered at the unit, together with programme elective and single subject courses. UBE is the KI node of the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (an academic collaboration between KI, the Stockholm School of Economics, the Royal Institutet of Technology, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, and Stockholm University) providing interdisciplinary education. UBE is also involved in a number of educational projects funded by EU. With the help of these projects, KI wants to encourage students, researchers and others to develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset and approach.
We are looking for an ambitious and responsible team player. You have an open-minded attitude towards your work and work environment and a passion for education, entrepreneurship and innovation, especially in the medical and healthcare field.
Duties
You will have the overall responsibility for running in total three courses at UBE during a period of about 6 months. More specifically you will be the course leader for the Market analysis course in the MBE programme, the Life science industry course for the bachelors programme in biomedicine and the SSES course From science to business.

Personal skills
Since the position includes intense interaction with students, we will place great emphasis on personal skills, such as good communication skills, structured working methods and ability to collaborate, but also ability to run projects and work independently during time pressure and with, in some cases, limited instructions.
