The Department is organized in 10 divisions: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Surgery, Neuropediatrics, Pediatric Oncology, Neonatology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Neuropsychiatry (KIND), Reproductive and Perinatal Health. The divisions have separate scientific profiles and vary in size and have several research groups, dealing with both basic and clinical science.

Description of the team and its work:
Karolinska Institutet Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders (KIND) (www.ki.se/kind) is a competence center for research, education, development and clinical care in neuropsychiatry. KIND is a part of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) Research Center, an international and dynamic workplace with multiple opportunities for early researchers to further develop through access to preclinical and clinical data sets, supervision by senior researchers, participation in research seminars, journal clubs, lectures, and scientific conferences.

The Roots of Autism and ADHD Twin Study Sweden (RATSS) is a unique twin study at KIND. RATSS comprises genetic, epigenetic, neurological, physiological as well as cognitive and psychopathological analyses on a well characterized growing twin sample. RATSS is also part of EU-AIMS, the largest ongoing research initiative on autism in Europe

Responsibilities/work tasks:
The job assignment as a post-doc at KIND includes a managing role within the EU-AIMS project and its exchange with RATSS. You will be coordinating and participating in the data collection (e.g. psychological tests, eye-tracking, neuroimaging), data analysis, and article writing as well as function as the contact person at KIND for the correspondence with other EU-AIMS partners.

Qualifications:
The applicant should hold a PhD degree in psychology, neuroscience or other relevant area and targeting an academic career. Clinical experience and documented writing skills are meritorious. Fluent English and good Swedish language skills are obligatory. We are looking for a person who is responsible, conscientious and reliable. You should be able to work independently and to be flexible. Because international contacts are part of the job assignments, it is required that you have a communication and organizational skills.
