In research group CNS Lundberg you find a unique possibility to collaborate with top researchers in the intersection between psychiatry and neuroscience to develop a better understanding of the biological underpinning of psychiatric diseases and their treatment. This is an international research environment where you get the opportunity to contribute to cutting edge research.
You will be responsible for analysis of unique [11C]AZ10419369 HRRT data from control persons and drug free patients with a depressive episode. Particular attention will be given the signal in brainstem. Relation between HRRT signal and MDE symptom severity will be explored. The project shall be finalised in 2021.
Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.
You are fluent in matlab, R and are an expert in ARG. Your previous training involves analysis of human ARG and PET data of the 5-HT1B receptor in the brainstem.
