We are looking for young, innovative and highly motivated students that are prepared to work hard to ultimately obtain a PhD in the field of DNA nanotechnology. Applicants should have an interest in building molecular machines at the smallest possible scale using self-assembly. Since a lot of the research goals in the group are focused on tools for biology and applications of DNA nanotechnology, applicants should also have an interest in fundamental molecular and cellular biology. For a more thorough description of some of our earlier work, please have a look at https://www.hogberglab.net
Our research group is composed of people from many different fields (mainly biologists, chemists and physicists) and the research is highly interdisciplinary.
