Come and join the Kragesteen lab at the department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics (MBB)! A lab manager position is available working at the intersection of kidney organoids, hypoxia physiology, and genome regulation, to illuminate the molecular logic of oxygen homeostasis that is central to human health. The Kragesteen group applies single-cell and spatial multi-omics and genome editing to mouse hypoxia models and human kidney organoids to map and manipulate oxygen-sensing circuitry with a focus on erythropoiesis regulation.
The applicant will work in close collaboration with the PI, PhD students, and other researchers to help shape a well-functioning collaborative laboratory environment. The applicant is expected to perform part lab managerial and administrative tasks, and part wet-lab tasks that include maintenance of induced pluripotent stem cells, differentiation into kidney organoids, and genetic perturbations. The applicant is expected to be highly engaged, structured, flexible, curious, and a team player.
We are looking for a competent, organized and energetic person with good communication skills to be a lab manager in the Kragesteen lab.
