We are an academic research lab in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) at Karolinska Institutet (KI) and SciLifeLab in Stockholm, Sweden (https://www.hausserlab.org).

We are looking for a Research assistant with computer science background.

Your mission

You will develop an approach to process large-scale tumor images into a form amenable for statistical analysis. You will then explore how such analyses can help understand the spatial architecture of tumors.

Your profile

  • Masters-level education in computer science
  • Experience with research and with bioinformatics, in the form of bachelor or master thesis or co-authorship on scientific publication
  • Familiarity with machine learning methods and deep neural networks
  • Good coding skills in Python and/or R
  • Good mastery of English
